BÀI MẪU:
There is no doubt that the national budget should be allocated effectively to address all the pressing problems that the whole society is facing today. While some believe that the government should provide support for the seniors, others argue that it is education that needs to receive more public funding.
On the one hand, it is believed that the aged should receive both financial and social support from the government. With regard to the former, the age pensions scheme can help the aged community who could no longer earn money get access tobasic amenities in life, including accommodation, food, and medical care. As for the latter, it is increasingly common for the aged now to live all alone without their family around, therefore they should receive proper care and support from nursing homes. The social life and the help of professionals at such places can stop them from feeling isolated and depressed, providing them a sense of community.
On the other hand, others hold the view that taxpayer’s money should be spent more on education reform. If we are to deliver a fairer society, we must securethe highest standards of education for all young people, regardless of their background. Therefore, we need to ensure that young people receive the preparation they need to overcome challenges and succeed. Furthermore, the entire society would benefit significantly from a well educated and civilized population. When all students have the opportunity to develop their own talents and capabilities, they would become a competent workforce. As a result, productivity increases, average income increases, and unemployment decreases.
In conclusion, although it is vital that the government should provide age pensions and good elderly care for the retired/ senior citizens/ retired people, they should also pay for education reform to enable their country to progress.
