SAMPLES FOR GARDENING:
Is gardening popular in your country?
Yes, it is. In fact, it is one of the most popular pastime activities in Vietnam. Being green-fingered has quietly become not only acceptable but aspirational, you can grow something, and they will provide you shade, fruits, vegetables in return. And many people find gardening very therapeutic. I mean, it is one of the best waysfor people to have more reasonsto get outside, relax, and enjoy a healthier, happier life.
Yes, I’m really into plants, especially when it comes to indoor plants, cause their green color is so relaxing and also represents freshness and growth. For me, houseplantshelp me improve concentration and productivitywhile I work or study at home, which is why I have so many at home.
3. Do you know a lot about plants?/ Do you know much about gardening?
I would say I know a thing or two aboutplants because I grew up in the countryside, and my mom, who is an amazing farmer, teaches me many interesting things about plants. I am always amazed bythe diversity of the plants in our place. I’ve tried to remember their names, their functions, and the differences between them.
4. Have you ever had a plant? Did you ever grow a plant as a child?
Yes, I’ve had several houseplants at home. As we live in the city, we don’t have enough space for a garden, so we can only grow some small indoor plants, like a Peace Lily, and Golden Pothos, something like that. For me, they act as beautiful house decorations helping to purify the airand add a little Zen to our home.
4. Would you ever give a plant as a gift?
Yeah, sure. I think giving someone a plant as a present on special occasions, like birthdays or home welcoming, is such a great idea, cause if we give them common gifts like clothes or shoes or jewelry, chances are they are not really a fan of like that brand or that style. So plant, especially houseplants, are not remarkably easy to care, but also give an attractive addition to their house.
