SAMPLES:
1. Do you like trees?
Absolutely. Trees offer a multitude of benefits that many of us take for granted, like, spending time around trees and looking at trees reduce stress, and improve mood. So whenever I have to work on a computer screen, I often take a break every 20 minutes and look at faraway objects like green trees or grass for 1 to 2 minutes. So I can get quick relief from the bright screen and be able to go right back to my work.
2. Would you like to live in a place that has lots of trees?
Oh that has always been my dream. I really love waking up in a room with windows that provide a panoramic view of the forest, or any place that has a lot of green trees. And living somewhere with trees in the neighborhood often encourages me to get outdoors and take more exercise, you know, just a 30-minute walk around the park, for example, can make a big difference.
3. Do you like to go to a forest?
Yes, very much. Walking in the woods is a great exercise for all of us, and keeps us physically active. And being in the woods is good for our mental health, it makes us more confident, calmer and reduces stress levels. And I love spending time in the woods gazing at trees, flowers, enjoying the sights, sounds and smells that surround me, or staying a while under the shade of a large oak tree, and, if I’m lucky, I can see some wild animals there.
4. Did you ever climb trees when you were a child?
Yes, very often. I grew up in the countryside, so my friends and I often played around our gardens, and climbed up all the big trees, and pretended that they were our secret homes, and that we were exploring other worlds. To me, climbing a tree is its own adventure. I could discover what I was capable of, while also getting the chance to see the world from a different vantage point. Of course, sometimes I’d fall, but that’s to be expected, there’s a risk in every journey of discovery.
5. Have you ever planted a tree?
Yes I have. I once planted a rose from cuttings in our backyard. It was actually a special gift from my friend on my birthday, as she knew that I was really into flowers. She had asked her father to take several rose cuttings from a rose bush which I liked the most in their garden, and then taught me how to grow them properly. It was not a fast process, it took a couple of years before my new plant produced flowers.
