1.  What did you like to do the most when you were in primary school?

Well, my favorite thing of primary school was to play with my friends during recess. I often looked forward to playtime, and I couldn’t wait to get outside for a break after a long lesson. It’s a part of the day that’s truly mine to go free-range. My friends and I had a lot of fun games and activities during recess, like, hide and seek, skipping, hopscotch, that sort of thing, and sometimes we even created new games and ideas to challenge each other. We got a chance to be whoever we want to be during recess.

2. How did you go to your primary school?

Well, I lived within walking distance of my primary school, so most of the time I just walked to school with a group of friends. There was very little traffic, so it was quite safe. But sometimes when there was bad weather, like it was raining heavily, or too freezing cold, my parents would give me a ride to school, and that’s a great chance for us to catch up about what had happened that day and share some quality time together.

3. How do you like your primary school?

Oh very much, primary school is the best time of my life, as I had the chance to meet some of my best friends. They were the most important thing to me, and also the reason that I was excited to go to school everyday, and many of them are still my friends for life. Besides, I was allowed to try everything at school. My primary teachers gave me the space to discover what I was capable of, from drawing, singing to dancing, which have taught me a lot about myself and helped me build myself-esteem.

4. What did you do in your leisure time in your primary school?

There are many activities and games for me to choose during recess. If the weather was bad, we often chose to stay indoors and play chess, or solve some puzzles, like sudoku, or crosswords, the harder the challenges were, the more excited we were. If the weather was nice, we had loads of games and things to do outside, like skipping, badminton, or hopscotch, and I was very determined to win any games I played/ participated in.
